My name is Brandon, and I'm a recent graduate in clinical mental health counseling. I work with veterans and clients throughout my communityy and I have always had a passion to give to others who have been in need. I always put myself before others. I myself have struggled with mental health, and it is something that is real and can disrupt your everyday life if it goes untreated. I want to use this page to give back to my community to help those who are in need, but think they can't afford it, be able to get the help they need. I'm a registered Mental Health Intern,n and my plans when I'm fully licensed are to open a practice for people who are either afraid to get help or feel that they can't afford it. My practice will be on a sliding scale one day, and it will accept insurance as well. We are in a time where this is something that needs to be destigmatized and that needs to be recognized as something that needs help. Anything helps to get this dream of mine off the ground. I want to be able to reach rural communities that don't have providers or offer the help that the communities might need. Thank you, and this is my story as a future Mental Health provider.
