Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this. I’m posting this fundraiser because honestly I need help. I got put into dire financial straights in March of 2024 last year due to my job at the time unceremoniously firing me without giving a reason because they wouldn’t admit the reason.
The reason was that I caught them committing wage theft due to animosity they had towards for reporting LGBTQIA and racial discrimination at the work place. The amount they stole from me was about $13,000.
I was lucky enough to have had people in my life that kept me from spiraling but things are getting tougher. Also I have been lucky enough to start having a platform growing on instagram where I speak out against systemic racism, corruption, and fascism. However I’m still not able to get monetized yet.
This situation has made it to where I hardly get to see my kid or just basically has made it hard to make ends meet in general. I’m literally drowning in debt. I keep trying to keep my head up and look for opportunities which is why my gf and I are moving to Illinois with hopes of a better life.
Quite frankly I am embarrassed to make this because I’ve always been used to making ends meet on my own. It’s a pretty defeating feeling but I’m still trying to keep my head up. Basically I’m posting this as a last resort.
Any help towards my posted would be greatly appreciated and if my platform eventually turns into a podcast I can definitely do something for those that are generous enough to help.
