As Stephen navigates the loss of Devon I am asking for continued support for him and their families.  Along with medical bills for an almost 3 week hospital stay, Stephen has made the difficult decision to move closer to his family for support and to help with Devon and his beloved dogs. At 7:30 p.m. on February 9th Devon went home to be with the lord. I want to thank everyone for all of their prayers and support during this most difficult time of my life and our families lives. To see all the love that you had for my wife and the amount of lives and joy she brought to so many people brings some peace. I am feeling broken and lost right now and I don't know how I will do life without her. I know what she would want for not just me but for everyone that she loved, is to live life to the fullest and always bring joy to this world whenever possible. No matter what life threw her way or how hard things got, life never stole her smile or her ability to bring joy to others. She loved fiercely and was loyal beyond measure. She had an inspiring love for God that inspired faith in so many people and continues to do so now. She made the world so much brighter and left the world a better place. I will always do everything I can to honor her and keep her light alive. I know she is in a better place with so many people she loved waiting for all of us. She will always be with us in our hearts and our memories. Everyone is asking what they can do for me and all I can say is hold your loved ones extra tight and cherish every minute with them.

I can never thank you enough for choosing me and loving me. I was lucky to have you for the short time I did. You made me a better man and loved me no matter what. We had a whole lifetime ahead of us and so many hopes and dreams. I promise you I will keep going for you and live life to the fullest like you would've wanted. You are my soulmate. The love of my life. My forever and always ❤️ I will always miss you 💔”

An update from Stephen:

Thank you everyone for all of your continued prayers and support. Devon had more testing done to see if she was viable for donation. The breathing test wasn't good therefore she won't be able to donate tomorrow and there will be no walk of life. She will remain in the ICU where they will take her breathing tube out and continue to make her comfortable until then end. The only peace to be found in this tragedy is to know that she will find peace and comfort in the arms of our lord. Thank you you to everyone that was planning on being here with us and that has continued to be with us in spirit. Your love and support has meant the world to us all. Please keep praying for a miracle that God brings her back to me 🙏
