Hi! Name is John Michael and my fiance Veronica Lynn whoms Transgender just had her GRS which is “Gender Reassignment Surgery” on August 19th, 2026.
Everything was great until yesterday when she was sent back into the ER with some major complications one being life threatening Abcess located between her abdomen and bladder which is from surgery.
Veronica’s whole life has been a struggle. From abusive alcoholic, drug invested parents. Her being sold to pay for their living situations as her parents as she would say “had a sickness” she forgives everyone’s whims ever hurt her and doesn’t hold the grudge.
On 08/19 I got to see my finance wake up finally in her right body, self, and mind. It was an instant change and celebration! We cannot be more grateful and blessed to have this surgery to begin with regardless of her complications early stage she’s still pushing through and keeping a positive mindset.
During this time it’s taken a very big tool on finances, myself working due to having to transport her 4-5 hours to Philly or wherever (outside of Pa) for a surgeon whom would feel safe to fix the issues arising which is very difficult.
The cost for gas, transportation, housing (it wasn’t what I would expected or herself.”
Where in the we don’t know what will happen in the future but as Veronica would state “even if it kills me im becoming my true self”
She started this and determined to finish!
