Hey, everyone.
It came to my attention that I was a victim of financial fraud a couple weeks ago, and despite working with my financial institution as well as local authorities, I have been unable to have any of my funds returned.
After my bank accounts for both my debit card and credit card were recently compromised, I ended up losing a total of $6,000. To make matters worse, I'm also currently between full-time jobs and relying on gig work to get by until I receive an offer, so this could substantially affect my livelihood based on where I'm at right now.
Although I've never had issues raising money for other people in need, I would be lying if I said that I didn't feel embarrassed doing it for myself. Unfortunately, given my current financial situation as well as the fact that I have additional upcoming bills that I need to pay, I wasn't sure what else to do or where to turn.
