I have recently been invited to attend a 10-day academic program, Intensive Law & Trial. This program is designed to strengthen leadership, critical thinking, and public speaking skills through hands-on learning experiences.
Although I do not plan to pursue a career in law, I am interested in pursuing a career in business. Because of that, this program offers something incredibly valuable to my future: the opportunity to grow as a leader, develop strong communication skills, and prepare for the college life I am about to begin. The skills taught in this program apply far beyond the courtroom and will help me succeed in all aspects of my future.
The tuition for this opportunity is nearly $6,000, which is far beyond what I can afford on my own while working part-time, donating plasma, and preparing for college. I am working hard to contribute what I can, but I am asking for support from my community to help make this experience possible.
