Hi dear friends.
My name is Mariana I'm from Ukraine.
And I want to ask you about help.
My parents now are refugees of war.
They used to live in Irpin , it's small city next to Kyiv, Ukraine.
Now it's front line of war actions.There was one of the hardest battles.
Windows in my parents apartment are broken, because of bombing. Bomb got into apartment one floor above them... Houses where are they used to live are partially destroyed because of bombing.
City has no supply of water, gas, electricity. Whole infrastructure like hospitals, shops are destroyed...
My parents left their house just with one bag for two of them. They took just their documents and underwear.
And now it's hard to predict when it will be really possible to back and live in the city again. Because in order to fix city there supposed to be no military actions in whole entire country.
In current situation they cannot support themselves in a long term perspective how it was before. And now have practically lost their entire life savings and everything they have as there investment is their apartment in Irpin.
My father is retired because of health essiues. He has a heart deasease and taking medication every day.
So now I'm raising funds in order to move them from Irpin to more safe place in Ukraine. For long term
And if it will be necessary to move them out of Ukraine also for long term... Until it will be absolutely safe in Ukraine and they can come back into their home....
I want to give them opportunity to create a simple comfortable life untill they will be able to come back into their own home, if it will be possible...
What can take as minimum 6 month from now... because military forces are still in the Ukraine and still shelling and shooting civilians in different cities.
The options is to move them to Poland or bring them stay with me in Indonesia. I'm the only one child in my family and they haven't seen me for more than 2 years now, and worth current situation in Ukraine it's hard to predict when it will be possible ...
My goal is to help them raise as much as possible, at least 20 000 usd
It might be enough to move them to Poland for more than half a year... rent some place to stay, learn language and try to find some work there...
Or help them get to Indonesia and spent some time with me and rest from that stress what they got during shelling of Irpin, when they have been there.
My mom is really lucky to stay alive, because when she and her neighbour was trying to get some water for all people who was hiding in bombm shelter, bomb got exploded in 200-300 meters away from them, exactly on the way to water source...
Even now all territory of Ukraine getting bombed every day...And alarms are ringing each time when any kind of air invasion happening...
It's even hard to imagine the amount of stress what they are went through science all this happened on February 24th.
At the same time I'm the only one child in my family and they haven't seen me for two years. And I can't come back to Ukraine right now at all, because of all this situation me and my parents have no place to stay.
So opportunity to spend some time with me in Indonesia will be really healing for them.
