I am running the Royal Park Half Marathon in London to benefit Dan's Fund for Burns, an incredible organization supporting the recovery of burn victims. In October 2002, Polly Miller was in Bali when terrorists detonated two bombs in the night club where she was, killing her husband of five weeks and eight other friends, as well as hundreds of others. Polly was the sole survivor of her group, but suffered severe burns over nearly 50% of her body, and had a long road to recovery.
In tribute to her husband, Dan Miller, Polly created Dan's Fund for Burns to offer practical help in a wide range of circumstances to burn victims in the UK.
