I wanted to start by thanking everyone that is supporting, We are asking for your support to help us focus entirely on Sofias healing rather than the mounting bills. Your donations will go directly toward medical costs and keeping our household stable. Recently, we learned that Sofia needs to undergo open-heart surgery. She was born with a congenital heart defect, and We recently discovered a valve issue that requires immediate repair. While we are confident in her medical team, the road ahead is daunting for our little girl and our family.
We Are Reaching Out The surgery is scheduled for Jan 14, 2026 at Childrens hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. As we prepare for this life-changing procedure, we are facing significant financial hurdles that we simply cannot navigate alone:
Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for surgery, specialized care, and follow-up treatments are overwhelming. To ensure Sofia is never alone during her hospital stay and recovery, Her mother and myself will need to take extended unpaid leave from work.
Funds will also go toward travel to the hospital/lodging/specialized equipment needed for home recovery.
