Baby Liam was born on January 15th, 2023. Unfortunately, Liam had a bowel movement while still in the womb which caused him to aspirate some meconium (aka poop) into his lungs. He also has a small case of Persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN), causing him to breathe really fast and not be taking in enough oxygen. For now, he is on oxygen via nasal cannula. The doctors have tried to wean the oxygen, but when Liam falls asleep his oxygen levels dip into the mid to lower 80's. I ask everyone to please pray for Liam's lungs to heal and for him to wean off the oxygen as soon as possible. Also, please pray for the whole Adkins family during this difficult time.
