In nine months, I am turning 40! One of my life goals before the big 4-0 is to run a half marathon and I’M DOING IT on April 11.
Because this is so important to me, I’d like to be intentional and fundraise for a cause that I’ve come to learn so much about this year, the Village Foster Closet of Holmdel. Located right in town, this nonprofit provides many of the essentials, love, support, and joy to families caring for foster children in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. The lovely woman who runs it has opened her home to two babies just this year and has relocated her nonprofit to larger space in an effort to offer more to some pretty amazing children in need.
Please consider donating— it’s a completely volunteer run effort, so 100% of donations go to children in need. No amount is too small! And I’ll keep everyone posted with how goes the run!
