Hey there friends, family and other good Samaritans. As many of you know I've been having a very hard year with my health. I'm currently in the hospital for extreme pain and low oxygen which has been hard this holiday season. It has recently been decided that I need to wear oxygen 24/7 so that my blood has enough oxygen in it for my body to run. Unfortunately, there is a extremely long waiting list (over a year) for insurance covered portable oxygen concentration units that are easy to carry and don't have to be refilled. Instead I'm attached to this hunk of a portable unit!
Imagine trying to walk a dog with this. When one arm has very bad arthritis and the other arm has an elbow that is just waiting to fall apart more. Let's just say that when I say this is gonna be a pain, mean it quite literally.
So to my friends, I know it is the holiday season right now so money is tight. Please don't feel obligated to give anything.
I'd like to get this unit which should last me for quite some time. It has everything I need to get through a day, working out without having to move my massive concentrator or switching to the "portable one" that I currently have so I can recover faster. I need this or something similar in order to get better faster.
So please, if you have a bit to spare and alot of people chip in I'll be able to get back to work asap, walk my dog without pain, and not be stared at as much when I leave home. I just want to get stronger so I can get back to work ASAP!
