Mason has been selected as one of eleven, 7th grade students traveling to Guatemala through the Take Flight Program at Independence Charter School in Center City, Philadelphia. Mason has been in the Spanish Immersion program at ICS since kindergarten.
The Take Flight program is an amazing opportunity to use his Spanish skills in Antigua, Guatemala, and the surrounding areas. The students will visit museums, hike a volcano, provide service at a school, haggle at a market, and gain valuable life experience with their peers.
