Hi! Thanks for stopping by!
Welcome to my campaign page for the International Ms “Still She Rose” charitable giving challenge.
ABOUT ME
I live in Northern California and work in the home building industry as a Director. In my free time I love to travel both locally and around the world. I also have a focus on health and wellness - I'm a dancer and runner.
As someone living with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, I know first hand the importance of wellness, proactive investment in self care, and a strong support system and resources to succeed. It's important to me to be an active participant in my own wellness as well as encourage and support others in their wellness journeys.
I support my local community by volunteering at our local food bank and at local races! I've directly parking, handed out t-shirts, cheered runners on, and my favorite - handed out medals at the finish line! Running has been instrumental in my mental health journey and it is incredibly rewarding to give back to that community. At the last race I volunteered at one of the participants shared that I made her feel seen and acknowledged and THAT is why I love being a supportive part of that community!
I'm so proud to be aligned with STILL SHE ROSE® which shares that focus on both self care and affirmation.
ABOUT STILL SHE ROSE
Launched in May 2022, STILL SHE ROSE® is a wellness program for leaders, women and teens in the pageant industry. Funded by the B4ACUSA Foundation, wellness program initiatives are open to all pageant community members. The ROSE is symbolic of the spirit that grows within each of us when proper care and attention is applied. Together, we can encourage wellness through self care, positive body image, renewed self esteem and affirmation of one's identity beyond pageantry. We aim to engage in a conversation of support, honesty, reflection and awareness, in order to promote wellness as the foundation of the pageant industry. Because each of us can say, She Struggled; and Still She Rose. B4ACUSA is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization registered in Virginia, USA. B4ACUSA includes three distinct initiatives: Grants/Scholarships, "Still She Rose" Wellness Program, and We Clean Trails.
