Hello!
We are Alli Jones and Nick Fleischmann and will work on our Senior Project together. If you do not know, Wellesley High gives us seniors the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a community service project for all of quarter four(our final quarter in WPS). For our project, we hope to enhance our gymnasium at Wellesley High School (WHS) with a mural. We plan to paint and hang up our lovely raiders mascot along with a tagline in our gym.
There are 36 varsity sports teams at WHS, more than any other high school in Massachusetts. We want to bring more spirit to our gym because compared to other high school gymnasiums WHS is bare. Combined Nick and I play six varsity sports and are each a captain of one. We know how much raider pride there is within the walls of the gym so we hope to show it!
Unfortunately, canvas and paint are quite expensive! With your help, we can raise funds necessary to show the true pride we have through a mural in our gym.
