Remote Learning: New Global Norms
As kids around the world begin their school year, Merasi students in Jaisalmer, Northwest India are eager to join in. In better times, 13-year old Merasi School has been a place where a younger generation of musicians holding a 900-year unique legacy can leave behind the shackles of illiteracy and learn with pride the art of their ancestors.
Without access to technology and other resources, our students are left behind. Free programming is currently inaccessible to these low-income families while distance learning via technology impossible.
