On Monday, September 25th, our beloved Kellen Major, was in a motorcycle accident that almost claimed his life. He was transported by ambulance where he had emergency surgery and was placed in the ICU. The accident resulted in the loss of his right leg, a severe pelvic injury, and many other complications. We are thankful to say that he is now awake and alert but still necessitates a high level of care in the ICU. He is a fighter and one of the strongest people we know, but his road to recovery is going to be long and daunting, both physically and psychologically. He’s going to require some revision and reconstruction surgeries, rehabilitation, as well as months of hospitalization and physical therapy.
For those of you who know Kellen, you know how amazing of a guy he is. For those of you who haven't had the honor of meeting him yet, he’s a father, boyfriend, brother, son and friend.
This campaign to raise funds aims to alleviate any financial burden during this trying time, such as the costs associated with his medical care, surgeries, physical therapy, rehabilitation, prosthetics, and we are reaching out to you for support.
He, as well as his girlfriend, Lauren, will need to be out of work during certain parts of his recovery in order to provide support. We are so thankful for any contributions and well wishes.
