Help an 18-Year-Old Trying to Build a Better Future 💜
Hi everyone, my name is Tia and I am only 18 years old. I never imagined I would be in a position where I would have to ask strangers for help, but I am doing everything I can to keep pushing forward.
I recently moved into my own apartment and have been trying to navigate adulthood completely on my own. Unfortunately, I do not have a strong support system or family members that I can depend on financially during difficult times. While I love my family, I have had to learn very quickly that if I want a different life for myself, I have to work hard to build it.
I have big goals and dreams for my future. I want stability, a successful career, my own business one day, and to create a life that I can truly be proud of. I do not want to repeat cycles or remain stuck in situations that have held me back. I am determined to create a better future for myself, even when it feels overwhelming.
I have been actively looking for additional work opportunities, selling personal belongings, and even starting small side hustles to earn extra income. Despite my efforts, I am currently struggling to cover my rent and essential expenses.
As a young adult trying to do this on my own, this has been one of the hardest and most humbling experiences of my life. Any donation, no matter how small, would help me stay housed and continue working toward my goals without losing the stability I have fought so hard to build.
