If you know Chicken, it’s no secret that she is a loving, spunky, hard headed, sweet girl who is the center of my entire world.
Chicken suddenly became paralyzed from the waist down on the night of Sept 20, a few days after I had surgery myself. , There little to no warning signs. After a scary night in the ER, it’s suspected that she has Intervertebrae Disc Disease.
We have since seen a neurologist who recommended surgery. After hearing all our options, I chose to keep her on crate rest for 6 weeks along with taking a steroid to see if she would improve. I started her on two different supplements and started red light therapy at home. We also tried acupuncture for 5 weeks. Sadly, Chicken has not made enough improvement to continue on this path and she needs to have an MRI and surgery that we were quoted at up to $10,100. All money donated will go towards her MRI, surgery, acupuncture, ER and neuro visit, and red light therapy wand.
We appreciate your support in any way you’re able. Please keep my baby girl in your thoughts. Chicken is a resilient princess and will recover <3 Thank you for reading, friends. Much love.
