Our sweet Duke is only 3 years old — and he’s already fighting for his life.
Duke is a 3-year-old black Labrador with the gentlest soul. He’s incredibly loving, friendly, and happiest when he’s with his people. He is deeply adored by his family — Eva, Travis, Antonio, and Gianna — and if you’ve ever met Duke, you know he has a special way of making everyone feel loved. Duke is even an excellent helper at Olde Towne Animal Hospital, where his calm and kind presence brings joy to everyone he meets. He is his mom Eva’s shadow, following her everywhere and never wanting to be far from her side. Duke is also one part of a deeply bonded trio with his black Lab sisters, Gracie and Valerie. The three are inseparable, and Duke absolutely adores his sisters. Duke loves balls, toys, beach walks, car rides, and of course pup cups — but more than anything, he just wants to be with his family.
Recently, our world was turned upside down when Duke was diagnosed with liver disease. He is so young, and this diagnosis has been absolutely heartbreaking. We want to do everything possible to give him the long, healthy life he deserves. To determine the best course of treatment, Duke needs a liver biopsy. The cost of the sonogram and biopsy is $4,000, and it’s more than we can manage on our own. If you’re able to donate — even a small amount — it would mean the world to us. And please share this page to help us reach others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time. Every bit helps, and we are so grateful.
