Reaching out to the community for help. My friend, M, is a disabled resident of St Louis. She was directly hit by the tornado that struck St. Louis on May 16th, and her apartment is completely unlivable. Her roof is gone and her entire street is destroyed.
M was able to get some essentials from her apartment. However, the apartment complex management is not following through with their promise to get tarps on roofs to protect damaged apartments until repairs are made. This creates cause for concern as more rain and storms are expected in the days/weeks following the tornado.
M is needing community support with moving costs to a new apartment. She is needing about $1500 in move-in costs to be securely housed.
