Hello All,
Eduardo was dischrged from hospital last night and is now home. We are waiting to see what will happen with his treatment. We were advised upon discharge that Home Health would be reaching out to us to arrange for medication administration and education. Eduardos treatment is currently on pause and hopefully it can resume soon. Eduardo has a follow up scheduled with the Cardiothoracic surgeon next tuesday as he is still requring another heart surgery. Thank you so much for your donations and for sharing.

Eduardo is getting a central line placed today for administration of IV antibiotics. In August he had heart surgery replacing an infected heart valve. The infection had caused an abscess that made a hole. A patch was placed to cover the hole located right under the replaced valve which has now loosen. The suspicion is that its reinfected and Eduardo will need a second operation to fix the patch.
