On April 23rd, I had a stroke and was taken to the ER here in Victoria Tx. They immediately transported me to San Antonio where I was assigned an amazing neurology team. They found a tumor on the right side of my brain. It was affecting the functionality of the left side of my body. Although there were small signs(but I didn't know it) this was a complete surprise. I don't have insurance or sick leave from work. If you can imagine the cost of a 2 week stay in ICU and 4 weeks off work.
I have my 15 year old daughter who is now NOT going to get her sweet 16 that we were planning and bills and medications to pay for. I don't like asking for help, however I also don't want to end up homeless. Anything helps. Please don't send me your last 5 ...10 dollars. I don't want others to suffer to help me.
