Hello! My name is Gracie Wenzel and I am a senior at Virginia Wesleyan University. For the first time since I have come to the school, we are finally doing some school trips due to COVID-19. We are going to Belize in January of 2023 for 10 days. We leave Virginia Beach on the 9th and go to Ambergis Caye till the 16th, where we then go to the mainland until we return home on the 19th, just in time for spring semester to begin. While we are there, we plan on hiking, snorkeling, visiting Mayan Ruins, river tubing, going to the Belize Zoo, and going to the Howler Monkey Reserve. The cost of the trip pays for all of these trips, transportation, food, housing while we are there, and also this is technically a class that counts for 4 credits and helps me finish my minor in marine science. Since this year is my last year, this might be my only chance at doing something like this is my college career.
