We are so excited that Jillian was offered a contract to tour with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps this summer! As you may or may not know, the costs to participate once you make it through the audition process is pretty steep. This account has been set up to simply ask for your support so we can knock down some of that cost.
This past summer, Jillian was one of four drum majors for the Fishers Marching Band. Fishers 2022 season included a top 3 placement in the Indiana State Finals and tenth place in the Bands of America Grand Nationals both at Lucas Oil Stadium. She kicked off the 2022 season at the Summer Symposium at Ball State University. She has played the French horn for 6 years and is currently in the Fishers High School Wind Ensemble. Jillian leads the cymbal line for the Fishers Indoor Percussion group, a world class ensemble and has been part of this group for the last three seasons. They are a consistent WGI state and national finalist.
When she isn’t participating in a music group, she works a part time job at Panera, volunteers each week with children at church, and is a member of the National Honors Society. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially outdoors. After this summer of Drum Corps, she plans to attend Indiana University in Bloomington to dual major in Biology and Psychology in hopes to pursue her dream of Dermatology.
Please consider supporting her adventure this summer. We appreciate your help and we will be sending updates on her travels and competitions.
Thanks!
The Hootons
