Where to begin. Prepare for a doozy of a story. My life has taken a turn and I’m in need of some major help
I fell in love. And my love was released from prison. He was released on a program called GRE (graduated re entry) in April (we were expecting him out in august of next year) and we knew that eventually once he adjusted he wanted to work in getting visitation with his son (3 1/2 yrs old and he had never met) a month and a half after release we file parenting plan for visitation since the mom would not answerBut prior to filing we get a call from CPS with a request to attend an emergency zoom meeting to discuss placement as the mom is in the middle of a horrible addiction. The day we file … we call CPS and ask since we are the same county can she try to reach out to grandma (where his son is staying) Lon story short we meet his son for the first time.. on July 10th my s/o starts his first day of work (78 applications only 4 interviews and one job offer) and 20 minutes after getting home from dropping him off I get a phone call from CPS and long story short I have to go pick him 2 counties over and now we have custody
here comes the fundraising reason
my roommate moved out last minute and stole rent as well as a lot of electronics and my car
I have an suv that is literally in its last leg and I don’t expect it to make it more than a month or two but I’m completely depleted of eeasources since last year as I had to take time off work for radiation.
I am responsible for gettin the s/o to work (he cannot drive ) the kid to day care and myself to work and then reverse for the evening routine.
I’ve never really asked for help and if you can find it in your heart to help it would mean everything. And I promise to pay it forward !
