I’m reaching out to ask for your support for our dear friend and coworker, Natalia, during an incredibly difficult time.
Natalia and her husband are from Ukraine. They were forced to leave their homeland to escape the devastating war and came to the United States hoping to find safety, stability, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Over the past few years, they have worked hard, built a home here, and grown to love this country and the community they have become a part of.
Recently, Natalia learned that her work visa is expiring soon. She has done everything in her power to renew it and has explored every possible option to remain in the United States, but unfortunately, every avenue has led to a dead end. After exhausting all of their options, she and her husband have made the heartbreaking decision to leave the country.
This has been an emotional and overwhelming journey. Not only are they leaving behind the life they worked so hard to create, but they also face tremendous uncertainty about where they will go next and how they will start over once again. Having already fled the horrors of war, they are now being forced to leave the place they had hoped would be their permanent home.
I’m asking, if you are able, to please consider making a donation, no matter how small to help Natalia with essential expenses during this difficult transition. Every contribution will make a meaningful difference as she and her husband prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
