Sweet girl Ices was rescued from Harris County Shelter right before her euthanasia, and after being in boarding for a long time, a lovely foster home opened up and she went to Amarillo TX.
Ices was spayed on Friday, June 26, and her foster mom notified us that she was doing wonderful. Weekends went well too, but on Sunday night, she started having discharge from her incision. Her foster mom contacted the vet in the morning and they asked her to bring Ices in. As they were picking her up into the car, Ices got spooked and the incision fell apart, her intestines were out. Her foster mom, traumatized, held the intestine and her open wound together by pressing on them, and had her son drive them as fast as possible to the vet where she was spayed,
They got her in, and had to restitch her back.
After staying in the hospital for two days, Ices was released. She healed for 2 weeks, and then went to her forever home.
However, we are left with the bill from her emergency surgery and hospitalization.
We have already over extended our resources to pay off Ice's large boarding bill for 3 months, costing $20 a day.
We will sincerely appreciate if we can please get any help to pay off this bill.
You can call in donations to the vet clinic, or donate via our website at savesomesouls.org or contribute to this campaign.
Any amount will be so sincerely appreciated.
Ices is doing very well, and is very loved by her parents in New England. Her spot at foster home is being filled by another urgent pup at the shelter.
Thank you so much for any share and help.
