My friend's son Tate has always been the kind of person who lights up a room. He’s the one who makes his little cousins laugh until they can’t breathe, who helps neighbors mow lawns/ shovel snow without being asked, and who dreams of one day being an IT guru and starting his own small business.
Right now, Tate is facing one of the hardest chapters of his life — he was apprehended by ICE while pumping gas at a local gas station .He is currently detained and awaiting his day in court. This has been an incredibly difficult time for him and for his family.
We are raising funds to help cover his legal representation, commissary needs, and the cost of staying connected whether he chooses to fight to stay or go back to the home country he filed asylum from for political reasons. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us make sure Tate knows he is not alone and that he has a fair chance to move forward.
If you can’t give financially, your prayers, kind words, and sharing this page mean the world to us.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with Tate during this time. Your support is not just a donation — it’s a lifeline of hope.
