I am so happy to share with you about an upcoming opportunity that has opened up for
me. I have been accepted to the Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch Internship, located in Bend,
Oregon!
This Internship is an 8 month long discipleship program, beginning in March, 2025.
I am beyond excited and hopeful for all that this season holds! My greatest desire in this
upcoming chapter of my life is to deepen my relationship with the Lord, surrendering to
Him in every area of my life. I have long held a special place in my heart for horses, and
the times that I have been able to spend around them have been true highlights in my life.
The beauty of being able to grow and deepen in my spiritual life, while also learning many
skills related to horsemanship is a dream! I’m also looking forward to the many
opportunities that I will have to share the love of Jesus with those who come to the ranch

Most of you know that I recently completed my two years of mandatory service in the
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). During my time in the IDF, I served as an “observer”,
watching and guarding the sensitive areas and borders of Israel. Ultimately, I completed a
commander’s course, enabling me to serve as a Commander in the basic training for new
recruits. Though the majority of my service in the army was during a time of war, I was
always aware of the extreme importance of my role and felt deeply committed to and
responsible for those I was training. I feel a deep sense of gratitude and love for my
country Israel, after serving in the military. Though my two years of service were extremely
challenging, it will always be a season of my life that I hold very dear.
This past September, shortly after completing my military service, I flew to the United
States, to spend time with my Mom’s side of the family in Portland, Oregon. I am so
thankful for the rest and restoration, the healing, and the fun experiences I have had in
these months. It has been so meaningful to spend time with extended family. Crystal
Peaks Youth Ranch is only a 3 hour drive from Portland, allowing me to remain somewhat
close to family during the internship.
Currently, I am working and saving up to purchase a car. Because the ranch is remotely
located, having the ability to independently get around is a requirement for those in the
program. Of course, it will be such a blessing to also be able to drive back to Portland
occasionally, to visit family.
During the 8 month internship, I will also be responsible to cover monthly expenses for
health insurance, car insurance, food and basic necessities, including proper ranch attire,
clothing, boots, etc.
My goal is to raise a total of $10,000. This includes the $500 per month for expenses
during the internship, and $6000 in order to purchase a reliable vehicle.
