Most of you know what is going on with Kyle but for those of you who do not. On 8/22 Kyle was admitted to the hospital with Covid pneumonia. On 8/26 he was put in a ventilator and that evening he was put on an ECMO machine and shortly after he had a trach placed. A few days later he coded twice. He has been through so much since late August. He was transferred to Washington DC where on 10/14 he was removed from the ecmo. They then slowly started going back off the sedation and paralytic medications. This week he was moved to a trach collar and is doing well with it. He is working hard with physical therapy to get his strength and movement back. He has to learn to walk again and it goes on...
He is excepted to not be able to return to work for 12-24 months. His bills are already rolling in from when he was in Florida. They are outrageous. With that being said! We are down to only my income. We have two boys to care for 11 months old and 4 years old. We have our bills as well that we have to keep up on and not get behind. Money is tight and it is going to get even tighter with all these bills coming in and him being out of work for such a long period of time...
