For 12 yrs I have been dealing with a corrupt Government entity called Friend of the Court. They operate under the guise of doing what's best for the children, but that is completely false. The operate under a profit system and benefit by higher child support with more fees. On 4 separate occasions I was altered my support not in my favor, and not based on any income formula the claim. 1st my child support was increased while I was in between companies and the support was not based on what I earned, but what I should earn, which I never earned while at that company. Both my parents became ill in 2018 and they needed help. I chose to leave my job and help them 3 hours away. I never missed my weekend and time with my kids even though I had to drive 12 hours there and back every time it was my time to see them. 3 yrs after I had moved up there I was working full time, but in a job that paid 1/3rd of what I was making. My monthly payment was 75% of my Gross pre tax income. I made partial payment during this time knowing that I can't pay the entire monthly payment which would.leave no money for gas to and from work and no money for gas to get my kids, let alone give them food. After 3 yrs I contested the support amount, I provided 3 yrs of tax returns and 8 payouts to show my income which was only $23,000(pre tax) a yr. The referee (the judge), reviewed my documents and then decided to base my income and consequently payments off what I made 4 yrs ago which was much higher. So, to recap, I contested to lower the payment, proved I made much less and they still decided to raise my.payments to $1477 per month (only a $23 a month raise), but when with an income of about $2000 per month that was over 70+%of my gross income before I paid taxes. Consequently, I am behind one support, however, it did drop down to $1134 a month and I have made those payments religiously for the last 3 yrs. Now, I only have my Mother to take care of and her 3rd battle with cancer and 4th run on chemo is very taxing on her and doesn't allow me time to work during the weekdays. I cook, I clean and prepare all.meals and do all yard work and drive her to all Dr appointments. I receive no income from this and in order to get the remaining balance I have to make a choice that will make my Mom's life less comfortable and more expensive, which I won't do. Or allow the friend of the court to clean out my bank account of what little.money I can tuck away like they did last week. By the way I found out the cleaned out my account while paying for groceries, embarrassing, bit that God I had cash to cover on me at that moment.p
