Living with PNES, a condition where severe anxiety triggers seizures, has been a challenging journey. Each episode leaves me disoriented, unable to recognize familiar faces or places for about twenty minutes. The unpredictability of this condition makes it difficult for me to maintain a regular routine, and it has deeply affected my family, especially my mom, who is doing her best to keep us afloat here in Pflugerville, Texas.
My mom is our rock, caring for me and my three siblings while juggling work and household responsibilities. The kids are actively seeking jobs to help out, but as of now, no opportunities have come through. The strain has taken its toll, and we’re facing the possibility of losing everything that matters to us. It’s a terrifying prospect, especially the thought of losing our home—a place that holds our memories and provides us with a sense of security.
We've reached out to friends and family, but with everyone facing their own struggles, help has been hard to find. It feels as if we’re standing on shaky ground, trying desperately not to slip. Our immediate goal is to raise $1,000 to cover essential needs, keeping a roof over our heads and food on the table. Your support would mean everything, offering us a chance to catch our breath and find some stability.
