Dear brothers and sisters,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maïmouna Sow, the beloved 6-month-old daughter of our devoted Dahira member Sokhna Mame Penda Ndiaye and her husband Abdoul Aziz Sow, an active member of our association. She returned to her Creator today, July 7, 2026.
The burial arrangements are being coordinated by Alioune Fall at Omar Haïkal Islamic Cemetery. We will keep the community informed as additional details become available, In shā' Allāh.
The burial expenses are approximately $4,000. We humbly ask everyone to fulfill our duty as Muslims by supporting this grieving family with whatever Allah has enabled us to give. No contribution is too small.May Allah (SWT) shower His infinite mercy upon our beloved Maïmouna, forgive her, make her among the people of Jannatul Firdaus, grant her parents and family beautiful patience (ṣabr jamīl), and reward everyone who supports them during this difficult time.
