Help Restore Our Family Van's Transmission

Our van has been down for roughly 5 months. Its my husband, our senior dog Chloe and me. We had our van looked at in March,the head mechanic told his employee don't mess with the transmission after they saw the pan. He didn't listen and not even 18 hours later,Boom our Transmission went. We were told they were looking for an affordableome then a gew weeks latervthey fired the guy. Again they wete looking but git backed up so I found one.We bought the transmission in June but now we have to pay for labor and its hard when you have to pay bills on top of gas and rides to work(my husband) and doctors appointments,no room to save. I've tried selling bracelets, onlind loans and nothing. We're a one income household,Im disabled but receive $0 because of my husband's income. Stuck between a rock and a hard place and finally got the courage to ask for help. Anyone that can help would be a life saver! Our van is on the older side,2000 Chevy Express Gladiator conversion van.
