I'm reaching out from Columbia, Missouri, where I've spent my years working hard, aiming for a peaceful retirement. Like so many, I've dedicated my life to my job, but now I'm ready to embrace a new chapter. I dream of clearing all my debts before I retire, hoping to find serenity in writing fiction, supporting wildlife, and perhaps settling into a cozy tiny home. It’s a simple vision, but one that fills me with hope and excitement for the future.
Without a college degree or moments of significant recognition, I've always led a modest life. Yet, as I stand on the brink of retirement, I dare to believe in the value of pursuing dreams that have been quietly cherished. Even though it feels daunting at times, the desire to explore creativity and contribute positively to the world is strong. I figure the worst that can happen is nothing changes, but maybe, just maybe, something wonderful is around the corner.
