🏡 Help Us Surprise My Mom With a Home 💖
Hi everyone, my name is Briahnna I'm 16 yrs old, and I’m starting this fundraiser with the help of my grandma (Mugga) to do something truly special — we want to surprise my mom with a home of her own.
My mom is one of the strongest, most selfless women I know. She’s worked so hard to build a better life for our family, even when life has been unbelievably hard on her. In December of 2024, right in the middle of her LPN year of nursing school, we lost our home to foreclosure. It wasn’t her fault — she did everything she could to save it, but sometimes life just doesn’t go the way you plan.
Since then, she’s been staying at my great-grandma’s house with my two younger sisters, Jaecie and Riot. The house is crowded, and there isn’t enough room for everyone, so my sister Cassidy and I have been staying at our dad’s house. I know this absolutely breaks her heart. She misses us every single day, and it hurts her to not have all four of her girls under one roof. She’s constantly torn between doing what’s best for us and just wanting her family to be together again.
Even through all this, she’s never stopped fighting. She finished her LPN year despite losing her home and is now in her ADN (Registered Nurse) year — the next step toward becoming an RN. She balances school, studying, and caring for Jaecie and Riot, all while carrying the emotional weight of everything we’ve been through.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 to help buy my mom a home — a safe, stable place where all four of us can finally be together again. In our area, houses usually sell for between $100,000 and $200,000, but knowing my mom, she’ll never go for anything big or fancy. She’ll choose something that fits our family’s needs, that’s modest, cozy, and affordable, because she wants to make sure she can keep it forever.
To keep everything transparent, my grandma Mugga will be in charge of the bank account that all donations go into. Every single dollar will go directly toward buying and setting up the house.
We’re also using TikTok to share our journey — from where we are now to the amazing day we get to surprise her. You’ll get to see the updates, the progress, and the incredible moment when she realizes what everyone came together to do for her. 🎥💗
