You may know him as Lorenzo, BeBop Joe, Michael, Mikey, the Dude, or who knows what else? He is our talented, passionate, mysterious, brilliant friend....his music, art, poetry, and quirky humor have brought crazy joy and touched so many of us. If you are on this site, perhaps you are aware of his recent health challenges, which he has endured quietly. For all his personality, Lorenzo, in fact, is a very private person.
He needs our help. His immediate treatment will cost over $4000. We'd like to also contribute to living expenses for the foreseeable future. Trying to raise at least $8,000 to give him some financial peace of mind as he fights the demons of illness and hospitalization and uncertainty. With so many friends who care, each of us contributing whatever is possible, we can make a difference as he hopefully finds a path to recovery.
