Hi, my name is Cassandra, I’m reaching out because my best friend Jessica is in a critical situation. She would never approve of this, but it’s not just about her. Jessica is a single parent to 2 boys, the only parent to one of them. For the 4th time (yes 4th!) in her life she has been given the terrifying news that she has cancer.. this time ovarian cancer that has spread into the uterus. She will be needing surgery and is urged to begin treatment as soon as possible. Unfortunately Jessica is unable to move forward with it due to a financial burden that she already carries.

Right now, she is facing a debt of $39,627. She has been doing everything she can to manage it, & pay down from what was owed prior. But with her past medical bills piling up on top of her own children’s medical bills there is no clear way out. It’s becoming impossible for her to receive the care she needs without putting herself into an even deeper debt. The kind that is possible she’d leave behind to her children if one day she is no longer with us.

Despite being sick, she’s remained strong, working through the pain as she has in the past. Researching every option and even exploring simpler side jobs while dealing with her health. But she has reached the point where she can’t do it alone anymore.

🙏🏻 Why I’m asking for help on her behalf?

Because Jessica is one of the most selfless, friendliest, most loving and caring humans I have ever known. She would never do this, she would never ask for the help, but she’d be first in line to helping others. Her condition will only get worse, she’s been told the surgery and treatments are necessary. Delaying could lead to more complications, physically and financially. But she’s hit a wall: she is the sole breadwinner in her family. But this surgery and treatment will put her behind in working and will add to her debt. She will not move forward for financial reasons (the clinic where she is set to receive treatment will not move forward unless her previous debt is paid or she puts something down for collateral) unfortunately Jessica has nothing of her own to her name aside a vehicle. So I am here on her behalf asking for your help. 🙏🏻

Every dollar you give brings her closer to stability — and to survival.

💡 What Your Donation Will Do

• Help pay down enough debt to qualify for surgery.

• Allow her to safely move forward with the medical care that is urgently need.

• Give her a second chance to heal and rebuild.

Even $5–$10 means the world and so does every share.

❤️ From the Bottom of My Heart

Asking for help is incredibly hard. But your kindness could literally save my friends life. If you’ve ever been in a moment of crisis and had someone show up, you know how much that can mean.

With gratitude and hope,

Cassandra Canez.

As of this week Jessica was able to pay down some debt due to family members helping out. 🙏🏻 we are so thankful, she was able to pay down close to 12,000 dollars.
This fund account is still open but I’ve been told to keep it low.

I’d appreciate if anyone could donate anything. 🙏🏻

Just an update, throughout these past weeks I haven’t shared the link to this fund account since I started it because my friend didn’t want me to. She didn’t want me to share her story or put anything out there. She unfortunately has just decided to let nature take its course, she said “if it happens it happens, it’s meant to “I just have to plan for my boys future” and I just can’t accept that. So I’m updating because I’m going to share this again and again and again. I know no one really cares but I know there are people out there who love Jessica and truly care for her and her kids. I’m asking all of us to come together in her time of need. Anything helps, at this point anything at all helps. Anything helps her fight this! So I’m asking you all from the kindness in your heart $2, $3 whatever it may be, we can do this. Please share this link in hopes that someone will see this & pass it along. Thank you all.
