Hello!
I am currently enrolled in the nursing program and am expected to graduate by December of 2026. I have always wanted to be a nurse and had graduated from the Medical Assisting program in March of 2017, while experiencing a high risk pregnancy. After my son was born, he had a short stay in the nicu (23 days) after being diagnosed with gastroschisis. I took a break from healthcare and landed a career position with the postal service for 6 years. I resigned last year due to a hostile work environment. I am now back to pursuing a career in healthcare, like I wanted to do 10 years ago. The program that I am in a fast-track program, that is a little more expensive than your average nursing program. I am only eligible for so much with financial aid. It is very humbling to ask for help, but options are limited. I appreciate any support!
