My son was the kind of kid every parent prays for — humble, respectful, and full of dreams bigger than life. He was an A student who worked hard, stayed focused, and always talked about attending Dominguez College. His dream was to become a physicist one day. He loved learning, creating, and exploring anything that sparked his imagination.
But more than his accomplishments, it was his heart that made him special. He was happy, kind, and always willing to help others, even when no one was watching. He never hurt anyone. He carried himself with so much love and humility, and he made everyone around him better.
Our family is now facing something we never imagined, and it has placed us in a difficult position emotionally and financially.
