We are raising money to fund our very first Hollywood Fringe production. (Aprox) 900 Feet (Aprox) The (not so) true Hollywood story of The Cockeyed Ladies Of Leisure. We need insurance, costumes, props and so much more to make this show a reality. Please help us raise the $1500 we need to offset the costs of our amazing show. Every dollar counts. No donation is too big (wink wink)
We are first time Fringe producers, and an all female writing and directing team who are passionate about immersive live production, stories behind the music and our own personal experiences with music and history at home and traveling abroad.
Most especially by the recent experience of a whirlwind, Beatles black cab tour we took on vacation in London in 2022. Although the tour wasn’t a theatrical performance, through our eyes, it seemed to unfold that way. It was nothing we imagined it would be. Although it was reality, it played out like strange, theatrical, performance art. The tour guide was larger than life and the fast paced, many locationed tour brought our weary feet to the sites, sounds and places that built the stories that built the Beatles. This crazy tour and our years of experience with immersive theatre combined, helped inspire our story and brought this wild ride to the page and in just a few short months the “stage.”
Please help us make our dream a reality!
Synopsis:
“By 1969 the most transformative female rock group on the Los Angeles music scene had been born in the basement of a seedy Hollywood boxing gym. They were the most popular band on Music Row but within a few short years they were on the verge of financial ruin. On this hour long immersive walking tour, join Rock and Roll’s most controversial roadie on a mesmerizing journey down Santa Monica Blvd., to visit the historic landmarks, immerse yourself in the backstage stories and tour the crumbling constructions that were steppingstones to one of rocks most meteoric climbs and devastating falls. On this tour of Hollywood's most momentous and meaningful musical markers, you’re approximately 900 feet from history…. Approximately. “
