I recently encountered a tiny, eight-week-old kitten abandoned at a gas station. A kind family found him first, but they couldn't keep him, so I stepped in. With a history of caring for special needs animals, I knew this little one needed urgent attention. He has a few broken ribs and both his back legs are affected—his left completely paralyzed and the right partially. After many calls to overwhelmed rescues, I realized help wasn't readily available, so I'm reaching out here.
We urgently need to get him to a vet and establish a treatment plan. There's also the possibility that he might need surgery to give him the best chance at life.
