Help Jo Heal: Support Her Recovery Journey

In November 2025, my world shifted when my mom, Jo Mansell, was admitted to the hospital for sudden numbness in her arm. Tests revealed several brain aneurysms. Understanding that these weak spots in her arteries could lead to severe complications was daunting. She bravely postponed surgery to continue teaching, her passion. However, on April 16th, one aneurysm ruptured, and she was rushed to Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville for emergency care. After a month and a half of intensive treatment and rehab, she's been discharged to Brooks Rehab but she is unable to work. My father works part-time, and I've taken on a second job, but the medical bills continue to mount. Our goal is to raise $300 to help ease this burden. Each step in Jo’s recovery journey has been a testament to her strength, but the financial strain is real. Thank you for sharing our story and offering your support.
