It is obvious that Glenn Earl Smallwood Jr. is gone, but never forgotten, from the outpouring of support and caring that his recent tragic death has inspired. Glenn was born on Sept. 12, 1989 to Diana and Glenn Earl Smallwood Sr. in Lufkin, TX. He was blessed with a large family of siblings who he turned to in good times and in bad, several of whom had encouraging conversations with him shortly before his death. For that, his family will be forever thankful.
Glenn was a true friend, a dedicated soldier in the U.S. Army., a loving son, a caring brother, and most importantly a proud father of his children, LaKindrick and Iliana. Rest assured that any funds remaining after Glenn’s service has been provided will benefit his children.
Glenn passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 in Lufkin, TX under uncertain circumstances and the family is diligently searching for answers. They appreciate the overwhelming outreach of concern and ask for patience and privacy as they figure things out, but they are truly honored to realize how much Glenn mattered to so many.
