My mom recently suffered a severe heart attack that completely changed our lives in a matter of days. What started as a medical emergency quickly became an overwhelming reality when she needed two separate surgeries to save her life. We are beyond grateful that she is still here with us.
Although she was just released from the hospital, she returned to work only three days later. This was not because she was ready, but because she felt she had no other choice. Recovery from a heart attack requires rest, close monitoring, and time for the body to heal. Going back to work so soon carries serious risks, and as her family, it is heartbreaking to watch her push herself when she should be focused on healing.
This fundraiser is meant to help ease that burden. The goal is to give my mom the chance to rest and recover without the constant stress of how bills will be paid. We can only do so much considering we all have our own. Even a short period of financial support would make a meaningful difference and allow her to prioritize her health during this critical time.
