Lindsey was admited to Advent Health Daytona Beach on Thur morning September 23rd. There she was found to have very low blood pressure and elvated blood sugar that was later discovered to be caused by a bad infection, that unfortuantly found its way to her foot and then reached the bone and her blood stream. Lindsey was battling in ICU for 1 week and they finally stablized her and moved her to a regualar room, 2 days ago she had surgery on her foot to remove the bone that had the infection. After the surgery the surgeon was pleased and gave Lindsey a good prognosis but as of today Sat Oct 2nd, her foot is not looking great and they decided to not release her at this time, Lindsey has filled for short term disablility but it will not kick in for another week, so she is w/o pay for 2 weeks, and is a new home owner and is responsible for paying mortgage and her other normal bills. She has asked that I reach out to her closest friends and co-workers to ask for support in this time, she is embarrased to be asking for help but knows she needs your help is humbling her self to ask. Anything will help till she can get this infection under control and return to work. She asks that you do not call her at this time but may send text or FB messages that way she can respond when she is feeling to it, as this has been an emotional and physical journey so far. She does appreicate everyones concern and appoligizes shes been unable to communicate to let everyone know what is going on.
