Alexandria has recently been experiencing major headaches. After loss of hearing in her right ear, swelling to the right side of her head, confusion, and migraine headaches, she finally saw a doctor in the ER at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. After blood work, scans, and an MRI they came to the conclusion that Alex is experiencing hydrocephalus and has lots of fluid resting on her brain. The first thought was to send Alex through an emergency surgery to remove the fluid, however, as test results kept coming, we have now been notified that Alex has a tumor the size of a walnut on her brain making the surgery much more difficult and strategic than we has originally thought. Alex is currently still waiting to be transferred into surgery at Ball Memorial. Scans were rerun today, 12/5 and it is not looking better but also, has not gotten a lot worse at this time. We are hoping for a surgery sooner than later and many more answers.  Alex has a full-time job that she will take a leave from until further notice, unexpectedly. Alex is also a single mother of a ten-year-old daughter who will hold her 11th birthday in December along with Christmas without her mother by her side. We are asking for any and all donations for Alex's surgery costs, bill costs while she is out of work, and assistance with her daughter's birthday and Christmas along with her daughters living expenses as she is staying with a friend of Alex's until further notice. We will update you all as time passes and we look forward to a miraculous, speedy recovery.
