Our beloved Mom and Nonny, the caretaker of others, who never asks for help, a true independent woman that we aspire to be, has yielded to the mercy of her heart, resulting in an Open Heart Quadruple Bypass surgery. In the week leading up to October 14, 2023, she experienced at least 2 heart attacks within 3 days prompting medical professionals to quickly prepare her for this surgery on October 19, 2023. Most of the arteries leading to her heart were either 80%-100% blocked. Needless to say, this unexpected turn of events is going to take a huge dip in the financial department as it pertains to normal monthly bills and now medical expenses due to time/days missed at work. We have set a $2500 goal to reach Mom's premium with her insurance. Anything over is greatly appreciated and will be used towards the upkeep of her bills and well being during her post-op recovery.
