My name is Marah, and I am a young Palestinian artist from Gaza. My family and I have lived through years of fear, war, and displacement. We lost our home, which held our memories and dreams, and our lives changed completely. Today, finding food and meeting our most basic needs has become a daily struggle as we try to survive despite everything we have endured.
Even in these difficult circumstances, I have never given up on my art. Painting is my way of expressing my pain and hope, and it is an essential part of who I am and the future I dream of. I am trying to use my artistic talent to support my family and help provide for our needs, but finding work and earning a living in Gaza has become incredibly difficult.
